The Perfect Shave

Steps:

Prepare:-

Always use warm water to moister your face, this will soften your hairs and open up your pores. Always dry your face with a dry and clean towel, and only pat and don’t rub it. You may apply pre-shave oil, so that razor glides smoothly on your face.

Leather Up:-

Use badger brush with your shaving cream or shaving soap, badger brush will give you thicker and richer leather.

Shave:-

Dip clean, sharp blade in hot water, avoid applying pressure, and shave with the grain. Rinse your blade often. For closer shave, re-leather and gently shave against the grain. Never apply too much pressure and always use sharp blade to avoid repetition and razor burns.

Moisturise:-

Only use after shave balm or gel and avoid applying methanol containing products as it may cause irritation.

Choosing Beard According to Your Face

Triangular Face:-

This face shape has a wide hairline, broad jawline, and narrow chin.To create balance the lower half has to be “filled out”. You need a full beard designed to take away from the pointy chin. Avoid too much fullness from the side of the face.

Round Face:-

A neatly trimmed beard designed to slim the face shape. Hard lines along the cheekbones and a slightly “squared off” neckline create the final touch towards the slimmer, oval-looking face.

Long Face:-

2

The best way to give the appearance of a shorter face is to stick with neatly trimmed beards or beard scuff. Similar to rectangular/oblong face shapes, this takes the attention away from the narrow jaw line.

Rectangular Face:-

2

Keep your facial hair short and trimmed.

No Chin:-

2

Keep your beard full while shaping it to give off the appearance of a strong jawline and pronounced chin.

Square Face:-

2

A short beard with hard lines or a scruffy beard will help accentuate your square jaw.

Oval Face:-

2

Most beard styles look good with this facial shape, so you can experiment a bit more to find which one best suits you.

Small Face:-

2

Skip the beard and go green shave. Any beard you wear will only make your face appear smaller.

Large Face:-

2

Stick with full beard.
